If people in the 80's started to communicate with each other in simple emoticons, punctuation marks, and memes, it is fair to say they are here to stay.
Meme history shows us how ideas and information replicates, mutates, and evolves into something larger than what it was before. And no wonder crypto space has a special fixation on its creation, spreading and longevity.
Why should we hold a Meme Contest?
For no other reason than the fact that they are hilarious, fun, easy to spread, and more importantly, they can help us to convey important messages to a broader audience without being 100% serious.
And why is Raze Network doing a Meme contest?
Because while designing a privacy protocol is very important and a fundamental right, it does not have to be serious business all the time. When it comes to engaging with crypto communities and reaching a broader audience, memes drive accessibility to a wider audience.
How does the contest work?
All you need to do is use your imagination, take inspiration from the best internet memes out there, and come up with a great meme about Raze Network, our privacy protocol and the upcoming Raze Network Testnet.
It can be about our upcoming Testnet, our mint, transfer and redeem functionalities, our secret DeFi bridge, anonymity mining, or whatever you like about Raze Network.
It just must be amusing to those who are not familiar with Raze Network and our vision.
Upon creating the meme(s) you believe are good enough, simply to
1️⃣ Make sure you follow @R4ZE_Network on Twitter
2️⃣ Like and retweet the contest announcement tweet
3️⃣ Tag three of your crypto friends
4️⃣ Tweet the meme out using #untRAZEable
The Raze Network team will form a committee on July 18th (end date) to judge them, and the final 3 winners who complete the aforementioned tasks 👆 will each receive the following rewards:

- 🎽 Unique Raze Swag

About Raze Network
Raze Network is a substrate-based, cross-chain privacy protocol built for the growing DeFi and Web 3.0 ecosystem. Applying zkSNARKS to the Zether framework, Raze is an EVM-compatible layer-2 middleware that will enable end-to-end anonymity for decentralized applications running on Ethereum, Polkadot, and Binance Smart Chain, with more layer-1 chain integrations roadmapped in the near future.
Our mission is to enable cross-chain, privacy-preserving transactions and activity for end users, shielding asset movements from surveillance while guaranteeing composability and faster settlement.
