To all Razers around the world,

As promised, the Raze Network Mainnet is now live to the public on Binance Smart Chain.

After a long time of planning and testing, we are so happy to announce and celebrate this launch with you.

At the heart of Raze Network, we are a cross-chain privacy protocol. It is built as a native privacy layer that can provide end-to-end anonymity for the entire DeFi stack. And to achieve that, we are going to conquer one space at a time. Binance Smart Chain is one of the first ones.

Why Binance Smart Chain?

BSC is fully EVM compatible. It supports the most popular DeFi wallets out there and it has pre-integrated price oracles that are very important for dApps. With this kind of compatibility, it has become a very easy ecosystem to tap into.

Ethereum transaction fees hit record highs multiple times. This became a bottleneck for DeFi growth and discouraged mass participation. In comparison to Ethereum, gas fees on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) are much lower, which leads to more activities and adoption.

And BSC has the high-speed infrastructure required to compete against traditional software-based lending or borrowing apps and it has a better chance of realizing the truly borderless DeFi.

Navigate Raze Network BSC Mainnet

Raze Network’s BSC Mainnet is deployed on the Binance Smart Chain. Before you begin using, you will need to configure your MetaMask wallet by adding Binance Smart Chain’s network. To do so, click the current network button at the top of your MetaMask wallet extension, select “Custom RPC”, and input the following details:

Connect Your Wallet

When you go to the Raze Mainnet page, your MetaMask browser will automatically pop-up and allow you to select an address from your wallet to connect with. Make sure you have Binance Smart Chain’s Mainnet selected in your MetaMask extension before opening Raze Network’s Mainnet.

Register Your Raze Account

To register a Raze Account, select the token you wish to Mint, Transfer, and Redeem privately via Raze Network.

  • At the current time we only support the BNB Token
  • If you have not registered a Raze Account before, click on “Register”.
  • Next, you can choose either the “Private Key Generator” or “Pick Your Own Key” options. If you select “Private Key Generator”, the key generator will automatically generate a secret key for you.

Click “Confirm” when your MetaMask wallet request pops up, which will pay the Mainnet gas fee for the transaction. Raze Network will automatically download a text file to your computer, which will hold your private key. Please keep it in a safe place, or ideally make a physical copy of your private key and destroy the text file.

If you select “Pick Your Own Key”, please make sure your private key is strong and secure. We require your private key to be between 16–64 characters long, and contain at least one (1) lowercase letter and one (1) number.

🚨 If you lose your private key, there will be no way to access your Raze Account.

Log Into Your Raze Account

  • If you’ve already registered a Raze Account, paste your private key into the “Input Your Private Key” window and click “Login”. If your wallet is connect, you will successfully log into your Raze Account.

Finding Your Raze Account Address

  • Click on “My Raze Account Address” in the Transfer module and window will popup with your Public Raze Account Address.
  • Here you will find your Raze Public Address. This address is used to receive any privacy tokens on the Raze Network. PLEASE DO NOT use your normal ERC-20 or BEP-20 address as a receiving address.

Mint Privacy Tokens (e.g. BNB -> rBNB)

  • From the home screen, select the token you wish to transfer privately
  • Input your private key and log into your Raze account.
  • Enter the amount of tokens you wish to mint. The unit of measurement is Unit and the unit ratio for each token is different. (e.g. 1 BNB = 100 Units of rBNB)
  • Click “Confirm Mint” to create your privacy tokens (BNB -> rBNB)
  • After you complete the above steps, your Raze account will display your minted privacy token’s in units, and your native token amount in your MetaMask account will correspondingly decrease.
  • Privacy tokens, which are anonymized versions of their native tokens, are usually presented as “r” + the name of the native token. For example, privatized $ETH will be listed as rETH on Raze network, $USDT will be listed as rUSDT, and $RAZE will be listed as rRAZE.

Transfer Privacy Tokens

  • From the home screen, select the token you wish to transfer privately
  • Input your private key and log into your Raze Account
  • Enter the amount of privacy tokens and the receiver’s Public Raze Account Address to transfer the tokens
  • Click “Confirm Transfer” to complete the privacy token transfer

Redeem Privacy Tokens

  • From the home screen, select the token you wish to redeem privately
  • Input your private key and log into your Raze Account
  • Enter the amount of privacy tokens in Units you wish to redeem
  • The amount of privacy tokens in your Raze Account will be reduced by the entered amount and the same amount of native tokens, minus the gas fees will be returned to your MetaMask Account.
