Raze Network & Harmony Partnership Announcement
We are very glad to announce that Raze Network officially partners with Harmony, a fully evm compatible chain with an Ethereum to Harmony trustless bridge, focused on cross-chain applications.
Harmony also has a robust ecosystem-building strategy focused on creating partnerships that drive the adoption of the protocol. At scale, Harmony helps businesses tokenize their assets and incentivize user engagement.
Raze Network is a second-layer protocol that will provide cross-chain payment privacy for the entire DeFi stack of the Polkadot ecosystem. The core technical module of this network is a second-layer anonymous payment for the DeFi ecosystem, which we will apply the Zether framework to build.
In the talks with the Harmony team, we were happy to learn they had also studied intensively the Zether framework and built a bridge to the Polkadot ecosystem, and the team plans to launch a plonk, zero-knowledge-proof system and a cross-chain mixer with Polkadot too, which is something Raze Network is very interested in learning and helping harmony to achieve. Improving the anonymity of cryptocurrencies always intrigues us.
With that being said, both teams share great homogeneities in the technical roadmap, visions, and product design. We are simply glad to form a relationship with similar minds.
Raze team will use its Efficient Σ-Bullets algorithm, a self-developed algorithm based on the Σ-Bullets encryption proof mechanism of the open-source project Zether to encrypt user account balances and transactions, and this method allows Harmony audience to set up Private Account, and take advantage of the Private Payment Channel. In addition, the Mint, Transfer and Redeem technical abilities will allow the Harmony community to mint Private Tokens from Base Tokens on the contract at a ratio of 1:1 to anonymize the entire on-chain process.
Justin Kellerson, CEO of Raze Network says:
“Through this partnership, both projects can look back on our journeys and share the boon and bane we made along the way. The next step for us should be to keep close contact and explore the edge of Polkadot, Decentralized Finance, and the technology of privacy-preserving to eventually build a complete and robust infrastructure that helps tokenize the world in a truly decentralized and private way.”
About Harmony
Harmony is a sharding protocol with a trustless Ethereum bridge. Harmony developers can use Ethereum tooling such as Solidity and Ethers.js. Users can also seamlessly swap Harmony and Ethereum assets. Harmony is able to achieve 2-second finality for fast transactions and is able to support 1000 delegating stakers for secure shards. Similar to layer 2 protocols, Harmony is now fully interoperable with the Ethereum ecosystem.

About Raze Network
Raze Network is a Substrate-based cross-chain privacy protocol for the Polkadot ecosystem. It is built as a native privacy layer that can provide end-to-end anonymity for the entire DeFi stack. The Raze Network applies zkSNARKs to the Zether framework to build a second-layer decentralized anonymous module. It will then be imported as a substrate-based smart contract. The objective of Raze Network is to enable cross-chain privacy-preserving payment and trading systems while protecting the transparency of your assets and behaviors from surveillance.
