Raze Network — Monthly Review #5
Hi Razers,
With July in the books, it is time to take a moment and reflect on what happened over the past month in the crypto space, privacy sector, and with Raze Network.
Let’s Talk Crypto
The digital asset market enjoyed healthy price gains led by its two largest assets near the end of July. The prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum were up and finished strong into the end of the month. Other assets also had particularly strong trading weeks, which included the new gaming NFT token Axie Infinity (AXS).
The B Word conference (an event hosted by the Crypto Council for Innovation) was attended by a number of the most influential people of the crypto world, who all swore allegiance to the future of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
To give you some highlights, Elon Musk still owns cryptocurrencies and said he had been holding bitcoins for the long term. Tesla is willing to accept BTC as payment again once improvements are made to its energy consumption. Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, confirmed to investors that bitcoin will be a “big part” of the company’s future.
Privacy And Foe
- The European Commission unveiled a new proposal to expand the bloc’s financial surveillance system and ensnare more cryptocurrency transactions in its web. Wrapped in anti-terrorist rhetoric, these rules would force cryptocurrency services to collect and share datasets on millions of innocent users.
- The New York Times reported on Monday that QR codes have increased businesses’ ability to track and analyze customer behavior, with some apps collecting personal data such as order history, emails, and phone numbers.

July has been a busy and fruitful month for us. We believe we have made significant progress in several aspects.
Raze Network Public Testnet Launch

On July 22, 2021, the long awaited Raze Network Testnet was finally launched.
The team has also created a short tutorial video on Raze Network’s Testnet for the community.
With the launch, we rolled out the Testnet Bounty Program that would allow our community to earn $RAZE rewards for contributing to the success of the Public Testnet
Community Vote Future Token Release
On July 15th, we asked our communities to vote on the future of the $RAZE token release, since we felt it was the only legitimate way to make a democratic decision. We were happy that our community came togther and made this crucial decision for the future of Raze.
After the voting was complete and the decision was made, the investor and advisor tokens were completely vested and distributed.
Liquidity Migration
$RAZE liquidity is moving to Uniswap V3, a more advanced and smarter marketplace.
