Raze Network Public Testnet Launch Announcement
Hey Razers!
This is the announcement you have all been waiting for. The long awaited launch of our Testnet is finally here: Thursday, July 22, 2021!
The Raze Network team is extremely excited to announce the date our Testnet is going live, along with several programs for our community members to participate in during this exciting time.
In our May 2021 report, we updated the community that due to the current market uncertainty and manipulation/malicious incidents, we made the hard decision to delay the planned May Testnet launch. This decision was made to ensure the security of the project and the financial safety of our future users.
Since then, we have been diligently building, securing, and perfecting our technology. With great confidence and excitement, we are happy to share that we will be allowing public access to the Raze Network Testnet on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00am UTC.
As you know, our mission is to provide DeFi and Web 3.0 users with an additional layer of security and anonymity if they so choose. The launch of the Raze Network Testnet has always been about producing an extraordinary product and experience for our users. The team at Raze believes that privacy is paramount to the future of the DeFi and general Web 3.0 space, and the official launch of our Testnet is a giant step towards this goal.
Our Testnet launch milestone is only the beginning of what Raze plans to offer the community in the coming months. It is at this time we would like to use our community’s collective wisdom and imagination to let us know how to make our application better, driven through feedback. One of the initiatives that we will be running to coincide with the launch is the Raze Testnet Bounty Program, to be announced later this week.
This program is where we will be asking you, the community, to report any bugs or errors that you may find while using the decentralized application. For your efforts in supporting the Raze Network mission in creating the best privacy-preserving DApp on the market, any found and reported bug that we validate will be rewarded with $RAZE tokens!
As always, thank you all for your continued support. This is only the beginning.
In our next Medium article, we will share the link to the Raze Network public Testnet and give you more details on how to connect, set up your Raze Account, get your unique address, mint privacy tokens, and more. Stay tuned and watch this space. Onwards!
